R. Michael, thanks for taking us along on your journey! I also have a Casita, and it's my happy place. I travel solo, with my dog, Poppy. The Casita forums and FB pages are indeed full of wonderful, kind, and helpful people. The encouragement and info I've received has helped me do modifications and repairs that I wouldn't have considered otherwise. I enjoy going to a couple of fiberglass trailer rallies every year. Hope to see you and your family down the road!

I haven't been to a rally yet, but I definitely want to go!

If you get up to Washington, let us know. We have a hook up. You can connect to on our 2 1/2 acres. We’d love to see you.

What part? I was just up there?

We live about 35 minutes from Gig Harbor, on the Key Peninsula. Hope you guys will come for a visit next time you are up our way.

This is our first Casita, a 2025 Independence Deluxe. We picked it up in Rice, TX this past March. There is an online form for service or questions and the factory gets back to us within 24 hours. The customer service has been very good, they have bent over backwards to get issues resolved for us. We did stay a week near the factory to make sure all our systems were working well. Had a few issues that the factory rectified when we took it in, no waiting.

We are heading back to our home state of Florida after being on the road since May mostly in Newfoundland, Labrador and Quebec. We have not had any major problems with the trailer other than paint peeling around the burners of the cook top. Furrion has sent the stove replacement to Retro Reno’s in Florida for replacement. Casita is covering the labor costs. So far, we are pleased with the quality and simplicity of the Casita for extended travel.

The Facebook Casita groups and the Casita forum online have been invaluable in answering questions and have so much information on repairs, maintenance, etc. https://www.casitaforum.com/invboard/forums/
