Thank you Aaron. Just finished reading “That ain’t me, babe”, loved it!
There’s nothing wrong with dating apps or bars of course. However, there’s just something very mature and grounding about a young gay man looking for love naturally.
But the best part, is how honest and real it is. I’m guessing it’s written much like you’d speak it? Either way, I admire the vulnerability.
I do try to write the way I would speak. I am confident about many aspects of my life and who I am - it was cathartic to write about a part of me that is outside the norm and also inexplicably hazy.
OMG!! This story is absolutely wonderful. I literally have a smile on my face as I write this. Do you know how good of a story teller and writer you are?? I hope you’re writing a book. What a memoir it would be!! And, that little pic of Chase?!!! Too adorable.
Sounds like heaven....What a beautiful life you have in store. Cant wait to hear of your adventures. Glad your husband made it home safely and little Chase is too in a safe place. Wish you all the best!!! Be Safe, Be Happy, and Live, Laugh, and Love much!!! - BJ
Oh yes! I just discovered this year that writing is my best way of sorting my thoughts, my 'insurmountable' problems, and my paths not taken. 'Sorting' meaning: getting clarity and a degree of acceptance. Sometimes a vicarious trip down one of those untaken paths. Often fun and exciting, but also cringe and uncomfortable.
What a wonderful wordsmith you are. Thank you for sharing, with unique perspective and creativity, what is a personal experience in such a relatable manner.
Thank you! You're so sweet. I appreciate you reading and commenting. I'm sure you've come to know how much it means when you write something that touches someone else. Even simply taking the time to read is such a huge deal these days.
You’re living my dream. I live in Australia and would love the freedom just to roam. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of your Aussie Adventures.
Thank you! It took 12 months of planning, but we made it happen. More Aussie adventure updates coming, with plenty of stops along the way. You never know where we will end up. Once this bloody rain stops on the East Coast!
It’s no small thing to move countries. I’ve done it myself in the past. Back then, I was younger and less encumbered. I now own assets and have two little pups to consider.
I schedule my posts for 11pm here in Australia. It's morning for most of my readers.
I love waking up and seeing the comments! It always makes for a good day.
Now that things have settled I can start publishing regularly again.
Thank you for making my day again!
You misspelled ibis. The correct sleeping is B I N C H I C K E N.
You're so right. They're everywhere. At least they're not aggressive.
I really like your writing style! Content's good too. Thanks, Aaron

Thanks, R. for your kind words.

Did you enjoy it? Writing about your own thoughts on life I mean?
