A New Home for Our Journey
Hello,
Whether you’ve been following along for a while or are seeing this name for the first time, we’re so glad you’re here.
For some time, I’ve been writing and publishing in two places: here at Open Road Adventures, and on an older publication called Not That Anyone Asked. As I’ve focused my storytelling, I’ve realized that splitting my energy and your attention never made much sense.
So, I’m making a change that’s been a long time coming. I am officially retiring Not That Anyone Asked and consolidating all of my writing and subscribers right here.
What this means for you is simple: nothing at all. You don’t need to do anything. Your subscription has been moved automatically, and you are in the right place.
Our mission with this publication is to remind us that adventure isn’t just where we go, but how we live and the meaning we take with us. Consolidating everything into Open Road Adventures allows me to pour all my focus into that mission—into delivering heartfelt, vulnerable, and reflective stories about our journey, our dog (and co-pilot) Chase, and about the resilience we find along the way.
Thank you for being part of this. I’m truly excited to continue our journey together from one, single home base.
All the best,
-R. Michael
P.S. To my longtime Open Road Adventures readers, thank you for your continued support. To those just joining us, welcome. Our journey together begins tomorrow with my newest story, “The Day We Missed.” Keep an eye on your inbox.
